Spread the Word: Write Pink

Do you know someone? Have you been touched? It’s hard to find someone who hasn’t.

It’s October and I’m proud to be participating with Bigger Picture Blogs, as bloggers write stories of breast cancer.  Stories of survival and of loss.  Stories of education, support, and prevention.  Stories for mothers and daughters, sisters and wives, friends and grandmothers, aunts and nieces.  Today we pledge to tell the stories.

Today we  Write Pink: from the Head, Heart and Feet.

I’ve signed up with Army of Women – a collaboration between the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and the Avon Army of Women – to help recruit ONE MILLION HEALTHY WOMEN to participate in research studies aimed to prevent breast cancer and to find a cure. You can help spread the word too!

Head over to Bigger Picture Blogs to read  more, and to find out how to participate yourself.

On October 12, I’ll be participating and writing about prevention. I hope you’ll plan to join us throughout the month of October.

I just did the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in SF last weekend. Support and contribution are so incredibly valuable.
